Quilts, Quilts, Quilts!

Quilting connects me to my ancestors and the women that loved and nurtured me throughout my childhood. Quilts intrinsically come with the language of protection, warmth, oral history, community and tradition. I work in the African American story quilt tradition influenced by fiber arts, music and literature throughout the African diaspora.

These art quilts are commissioned quilts or examples from the several quilt series I have produced.
